A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition suggests to me that steam is hissing out of a tree trunk?! Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Actually Nik it was light shining on smokey, steamy haze in line with a large dead trunk. Three years ago the 150 year old giant white oak (Quercus alba) collapsed in the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria

Thanks Sean...Three years ago the 150 year old giant white oak (Quercus alba) collapsed in the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. The dead trunk has been left as a symbol of this majestic tree
