Love this.. in this time and age our service men are often forgotten. I come from a military family and it's so different now then it was even ten years ago. We have the freedoms we have because of them and will always hold them in HIGH regards.

Good one for the contest and yes its one of those symbols that is evotive of sacrifices that have been made by people in wars and yes we shou;d count our b;essings,it also reminds me i have an uncle[who i never met] who was killed in ww11 and is buried in italy,thanks for sharing...Brian

What an inspiring entry, in an inspiring contest on the subject of inspiration!
Beautifully taken, and with the sunlight falling on the tomb like that, it's a stunner!
You didn't mention in your notes the faint American flag that you added (waiting to see if we noticed perhaps?), it's awesome, and such a clever addition to the image!
And I also applaud your notes, reminding us all to be grateful for what we have.
