This is a lovely and sweet drawing. And what child also would not love to have this handing on his or her bedroom wall, to see the frog there toward the middle. He is sweet; like he might have many more legs

Jewell, You know how I feel about pools and ponds. I like the way you treated the water from a dark blue green in the foreground, to a light blue and then into a lavender. I love the willow branches adorning the upper part of the painting. You have added the faery bubbles, the dragon fly and of course the froggy with all those toes as he sits in the middle of the story. Last but not least the lily pads and beautiful and colorful flowers pull it all together. Thank you for sharing your vision and thoughts. Ray

Jewell, You know how I feel about pools and ponds. I like the way you treated the water from a dark blue green in the foreground, to a light blue and then into a lavender. I love the willow branches adorning the upper part of the painting. You have added the faery bubbles, the dragon fly and of course the froggy with all those toes as he sits in the middle of the story. Last but not least the lily pads and beautiful and colorful flowers pull it all together. Thank you for sharing your vision and thoughts. Ray

The colors are bright and cheerful and really holds the viewers attention.
I think you accomplished what you set out to do very well. The shapes are varying in size shape and placement and the placement of the frog act as a fine anchor.

And...you just did a beautiful job in creating this beautiful pond scene ! The water lilies and pads are so well rendered in the pink tones, I like the way you filled this section of the pond and placed the cute frog in the center and even included a dragonfly to bring life to this scene.
I love the way you arranged this with the tall plants in back and the grasses in foreground. Beautiful show of the reflections on the water.
You should feel quite pleased with this painting! I love it!

We saw a lily pond at a restaurant we went to in FLA. I gotta find the photos I captured that day. It was so serene!
