This is a good entry for water play and best wishes in the contest. It appears they are really having fun. I would like to have seen it in color as well. This is lovely gray scale however.

I can feel the moment of the kayaks as they travel through the waves. The picture captures the excitement and companionship of these two people. It makes me want to join them on their adventures. Excellent visual and definitely worthy of being seen.

Excellent shot for the Water Play contest Brian!
Amazingly sharp throughout, the detail you've got is great.
Perfect composition, I like that you've taken it it in portrait rather than landscape (as many would) as it gives them plenty of space to move in to.
The flower on the right is a little distracting on the overall view, but perhaps less so than had it been in colour, but that's my only nitpick, and very minor!

Well rendered in black and white.
Well focused, clear image with good use of the light.
Nice grey tones.
