WOW, congratulations ON BEING THE WINNER OF PHOTOGRAPH OF THE MONTH! I once posted a bumblebee on a sunflower and got some of the most critical responses, (some privately) I almost took it down! It is still there in case you want to look for it. Lol
Love the shadow of the bee on the pretty magenta flower!

cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bee working the colorful flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Wow. Just wow. Stunning capture. Bees are so fun to watch. I love your description. It helps to fully picture the moment. That pink is incredible. Love the black design that's caught here. Love that I can see the fur on the bee when I zoom in.

Really good photo, I am a huge fan of bees. I like how you're able to see the fluffiness of them in this image, really highlights how different they are compared to how we perceive them.

Congratulations on this image winning the photo of the month contest. I can certainly see why! The bee really stands out against the colors of the flower. I wonder what caused the bald spot on its thorax. All of it is outstanding and then to have the added bonus of its shadow is perfect. Very nice, Bob.

Hi Ruth Ann.. When I was lad back in Northern Vermont I used to catch these. I don't remember them as having a bald spot either, but they do now.
