Sometimes straight forward portraits are not so good when posed,but i like this one steve and and such a smile you have got in this one,she does look a character for sure,and looks like she is not going to share that coke,good one...Brian

What a charming portrait Steve. You have pictured this old lady so well. I am sure I would have loved her as well. I think she must have been lovely when she was young, and her smile is so genuine. I especially like the way she is looking at you when the photo was taken.
This portrait is also sharp with clear and well defined details, and the exposure and white balance is just perfect.
The format and tight framing has worked so well, and Donna Maria has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
