A nicely drawn image of a monarch butterfly, with good detail and natural looking colours.
I like the positioning within the frame, giving the butterfly plenty of room to fly in to.

I really like the soft background your butterfly is flying in. I can picture this butterfly way up in the air over a field of goldenrod. Love the pov of the Monarch and your creation of it. Very nicely done with an uplifting spirit! Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Helvi

What I like the best about this painting is the simplicity and the color pallet you have used. I also like the feel of motion and the textured background.
The butterfly is done paying such a fine attention to details, and the nice and natural colors of the butterfly.
The square format is perfect, and the butterfly has got a fine placement on the paper. It is a lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.
