What a sweet little darling. Great job converting everything but the bird to
b & w, this was the perfect choice to allow this very colorful and adorable little creature to shine like a rainbow against the dark cloudy sky. Nice composition and clarity. Great shot, good luck!

A beautiful picture of this Lilac Breasted Roller perched on a leafless branch as it's bright colours stand out from the grey background that you have created using selective colours with the light sparkling in it's eyes. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I've seen very similar birds in Botswana a few years ago; they are small birds but can be seen quite often; the colors are really wonderful;

Wonderful initial impression ! This is a gorgeous bird ! Very well photographed. The bird has a perfect placement within the frame and is standing out so beautifully from the B&W background, I especially love that it has perched on the dead tree .
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, this is excellent use of selective color. The colors are gorgeous and they appear natural.

I was really pleased with how it turned out, so posted I it really quick to get it into the contest before going away tomorrow for a few weeks, only to find I didn't have enough dollars to be able to promote it!
