Excellent entry for the contest. Lovely pencil drawing of the beautiful swan. I like how you've drawn the overhanging branches and leaves to form a frame. The water shows the swan's reflection perfectly - you can almost see the ripples in the water as he moves along! Very good light and shade. Best of luck in the contest. Suzanne

This is a beautiful entry into a contest like this, and I especially like the fine shine you have brought out in the water together with reflections from the swan. I also like the way the branches are hanging over the swan acting as a nice framing.
As usual everything is done paying such a fine attention to details, and with a steady hand.
The format and framing is working well, and even if the drawing is sort of divided by a centered horizontal line, I think the composition is working.
I thin this is a truly lovely and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is such an appropriate enter into the black and white contest and best wishes in it. The swan is lovely. The surroundings are clearly seen, however, a little eerie.
