I am enjoying this style of drawing with minimal color. The Queen's Gambit is a great title for this interesting piece of work.
The random chess pieces and designs throughout, make for an interesting piece.

This is an outstanding work of art; great that it is not digital art, but that would be fine too. The integrated parts and the weaving of the pieces, colors, and creative imagination are all fine work.

Wow, very original. Very cool take on the chessboard and pieces. I'm very impressed with how you drew the curvature so neatly and how precisely you added the squares. The dominant blacks and whites, then the secondary blue highlights and that small gold highlight create this perfect balance of composition. You obviously know design concepts and have integrated them exceptionally well into your highly skilled drawing!

The queens pawn moves two spaces forward. Very strong move to gain access of the center of the board. Very intricate design. The board warps in its own space revealing the Knight at the center. Very nice. Ray
