Hi Brian, I don't know what it is but there is something special about train shots. Love this BW of the train approaching the bridge. I know this contest is about bridges though, not trains. LOL The angular shot is very nice and we get a good long look under the bridge. Love the small nature of the bridge and that it's made from bricks. Your lighting and focus show everything off in this image beautifully! Nice Job! Good Luck in the Contest!

I think that the black and white was a good choice for this one, it works to emphasize the train and the bridge it will go under .I like the steam or smoke both on top and under the train. That gives a sense of the motion.
Well focused, clear to view, exposure is well managed, nice tonal range in the B&W.

This B&W photograph touches a chord in me. Photography is a very powerful medium and a very difficult craft. This photo tells a story and takes me back to my teenage years when I loved the steam engines and the ride on bridges and under bridges.Good luck in the contest!
