Firstly, I read and really enjoyed your beautiful poem - I found it poignant. So that's a lovely accompaniment to this very lovely painting. I admire traditional artists so much - mine is all digitally generated then just tweaked by hand.
My eye is drawn right into the image through the overhanging canopy of trees in their Autumnal colours. I'm left wondering where that path leads to. It's such an enjoyable image to get lost in - fully worthy of 6 stars.

Woohoo! There is something about pathways that I love including them in my paintings so much. This one is vague but there! I am imagining another one with a man walking the other direction towards her. (Smiles)

Jewell this painting is brilliant and your accompanying poem is so insightful and soulful. The bold red and yellow colors vibrate against your blues and greens and are wonderfully reminiscent of a Leonid Afremov painting. The painting and poem together are fabulous!

This is more than amazing and deserves to be on the wall. The red and yellow dominant colors are blending well with other contrasting colors like the various shades of blue on the right side. The character looks pretty elegant. The Autumn setting is so dramatically presented. Love the accompanying poem. I actually like the poem when i reviewed it it there were just a load of words its different now,don,t mind poetry and this was good[better than i could do anyway]
