The entire scene shows water and the front section shows it coming down. You captured a good photograph of the poor fellow getting wet but he had a hood, thank God, and didn't seem to mind.

I think people in UK are used to getting drenched even in mid summer. I have experienced it myself years ago during my summer vacation visit. You have captured the atmospherics well. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great image with such good composition, not least because of the sign on the building in the background that leaves us in no doubt as to where this was taken. The detail is excellent- I can see that rain just bouncing up off the road. You got eye contact with the subject too. It rains a lot here in the UK but not always as dramatically as this!

of what one is told about the weather in Manchester. The young man looks resigned to his situation of being soaked on an almost daily basis. The pale sky & the buildings reflected on the wet street. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
