That is a very lush and pretty Crepe Myrtle tree! Ours are dark pink but I understand that they come in just about every color except blue, yellow, and orange.
The image is very vibrant.
Good luck in the contest.

I don't believe we have these this far North. It looks like a very bright and vibrant tree. One of the criteria for my area is it must be Deer resistant.

This take has excellent color, positioning, contrast and detail.

Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of a lovely Crepe Myrtle tree, well done.

Good luck in the contest... Bob

Thank you so much for your fine review. Thanks for your best wishes. I appreciate your support and certainly enjoy and appreciate your fine work. We do have several deer also; sometimes we see many at a time in the fields and two or three in our back or front yard. These trees bloom in August and reach their peak with blossoms at the end. This one hardly had any flowers the previous two years. There are still a few flowers.

Such a pretty tree with its splendid foliage and pretty white blossom. I actually like the inclusion of the white wooden structure - it compliments the image. It works well for composition to have the tree centred. A lovely shot!

Thank you so much, artist Christine. The photograph was taken from the backside of the tree, which is also in the front yard. I should have kept the small portion of the house shown; you encouraged me in that.

So lovely, Glena! We have a crepe Myrtle tree as well but it's a dark fusia color. I just recently found out that they also come in a beautiful purple shade! I would love every color I think they're so beautiful. You have captured this one in a wonderful way...
Great balance, centered, framed well and good exposure. The grass is absolutely perfect! Nice capture.

Thank you, my dear friend and artist, for reviewing and such kind words. I imagine your fuchsia Crepe Myrtle is gorgeous. I'd love to see it. I'd also like to see a purple one too.
