A beautiful picture of this Cactus' mauve & white flower rising up from it's prickly surroundings face to the sin above that highlighting it's beauty as it stands out from the blurred green background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Thank you SO much Susan! I couldn't believe how huge the flower was, how long the bud took to grow and then it only lasting 24 hours!

We don,t always see cactus on here so this makes a nice change,having the flower on it seems a bit bizarrembut then what do i know,it certainly adds contrast to this one,good luck in the contest...Brian
