Very dramatic and very appealing. Quite a trendy slant in its presentation ; that tuft on top reminds me of hairstyles the younger men are doing these days. The profile really works and I enjoy all that fine detail in feathers and glinty eye.

Oh Pat, he's so cute and how wonderful that he comes and taps on the window!
I had a pet jackdaw when I was younger, he would come and go as he pleased and would always peck on the window when he wanted to come back into the house. Your jay reminds me of him a bit (except of course for his bad hair day! Lol). I always feels it's such an honour when a bird become tame.
Lovely photo too btw! I nearly forgot to review! :)
You've managed the blacks in his feathers very well - all-black birds are not the easiest to photograph, but you've done a grand job!

Thank you so much Charlotte ! I appreciate your support! These birds are quite friendly and trusting , they will take peanuts from my hand ! If there are no peanuts out there they will look in kitchen window for me!
