First of all this is simply the best portrayal of a difficult shade of yellow to capture.
As flower petals age the blanch from the outside in and this is so well seen ion this take. The colors morph from the inside rings to outside in an even and almost calculable way.
Secondly the camera technique you used was absolutely prime time accurate - the petal crenulations are well demonstrated across the entire image.
Lastly, I think the image could have cropped a little less. Get the full view of at least two sides.
Overall a beautiful rose... Bob

A beautiful close up of this rose Chris, just perfect for the competition!
I love how you've filled the frame, but not placed it bang slap in the middle.
Focus is excellent. Exposure is spot on and the colours are exquisite!
