Camera angle and settings highlight the preening activity of the Heron. Feather detail is well seen. the background bokeh forms a fine contrast around the bird.

A nice shot Fred, and nicely in focus too.
Good detail in the feathers and her nest and very nice partial reflection. And the dark background has no distractions to draw away one's eye.
