Hi Bob, Love the beautiful flare of these poppy petals. An image like this is one I'd definitely take for one of my firework flowers. Love the beautiful color and the bristle look of the center. You captured a very nice image. Great focus and lighting really show the poppy off! :o) Nancy

Fantastic shot Bob! The colors are so vibrant and the composition and clarity are perfect. I like how the light coming in from the left, illuminates the red orange hues and actually looks like crepe paper. The purple and fuschia center are very inviting to peruse. That fuschia center reminds me of a sea urchin. It's really cool how nature has so many similarities from species to species. A most excellent shot!

Fantastic shot Bob! The colors are so vibrant and the composition and clarity are perfect. I like how the light coming in from the left, illuminates the red orange hues and actually looks like crepe paper. The purple and fuschia center are very inviting to peruse. That fuschia center reminds me of a sea urchin. It's really cool how nature has so many similarities from species to species. A most excellent shot!

I like the clarity of the stamens and its textures and pattern in the central part. This poppy's color is so bold and solid and the black central part made a nice a contrast. Well captured.

Hi Bob, poppies are such great flowers to photograph, this is a beautiful capture of the poppy to emphasize its center detail, I love the vibrant orange color on the crepe paper textured petals and those dark pollen heads .
Well photographed with nice focus, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, the colors and tones appear natural.

Bob, Great to see you got to put your Gorilla pod to work and the results are fantastic. You caught the cray paper texture of the petals and the blue collar around the center is complimentary to the petals and the center is like a mixture of the two. Very nicely presented. Ray

A cyber SIX stars for the heart of this beautiful Oriental scarlet Poppy. The pistil surrounded by the blue grey stamens. The petals are akin to crushed scarlet silk. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
