I'll tell you a true story. Yesterday I looked at this and I thought umm, I'm not sure I like the writing. I really like everything else about it but I won't review because I don't want to say anything negative, it's just my preference after all. Then a couple of hours later, I was out walking my dogs and my mind was wandering and I found myself thinking about this particular piece of art. I was thinking all sorts - like what if these people are all waiting to die? Or are they dead but they're waiting to get into paradise, maybe they're stuck in hell? Or maybe they are just waiting to get into a nightclub? Haha. So, from all this I conclude that this is a great piece of art. It made me think. It came back and revisited my thoughts. It provoked a thought process and it's going to have to take 6 stars for that very reason!

Thank you for your wonderful review and rating Christine. So I got you thinking. I must confess, this provoked a lot of thoughts, as I was painting it. When I was younger I frequented many a disco in NYC, I love both dancing and feeling the beat of the music and watching the crowd of my peers. To me it was like being in paradise with people like me all hopping and bopping together in our own exotic world, just letting loose. Here's a little secret, I included a selfie of myself, dead center. I am happy that enjoyed my work. I didn't like the sign either. Ray

Very different and while abstract it's very detailed. You can obviously make out the scene you are portraying. The colors are really vibrant. As always, wonderful work. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ray, This does appear as something one would see outside a club. I like the motley bunch of characters yo created. It's fun just gazing around to see who is waiting to get in. I think the colors create a nice atmosphere of the mood of the place. Nicely Done My Friend! :o) Nancy
