A beautiful & interesting picture of this Market Place in Madagascar with stalls selling handwoven baskets. Busy selling & in conversation between one another in the sunshine. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Wonderful image. So bright and colorful! The image itself is very clear and detailed. Love how everyone is focused on what they are doing except the one man. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

A common sight in third world countries. In India, it is hard to find pavements to walk and even part of the roads spill over by the hawkers.:) This is a nice looking shot. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good luck!

good one for my contest as such vibrant street scene and can see there were loads of different versions you could have done there individual as well as group ones like this,this shows us a group scene and the only picky thing i would do is crop of the top balcony in this one...Brian

Thanks Brian. Interestingly I did try cropping the balcony in a variety of crops and ended up deciding a crop didn?t work so reverted to the original.

I fell in love with the detailed description in the artist's notes. I can just imagine the smell of the burning charcoal in this tropical place. I can see the hard working and barefooted locals and their handmade baskets.
