A beautiful picture of the inside of this Greek Orthodox church covered on colourful murals depicting Our Lady carrying the Christ Child, Christ & his apostles taken from scenes in the New Testament. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Yes no exactly what you mean on greek churches sme of them you can,t use flash but if you have high iso on your camera you can still get images as such,have seen quite a few where the walls are painted with murals and simply take your breath away with the detail...Brian

The paintings in this church are just stunning and you captured them so well, with good clarity. I like the composition very much. I've always felt that churches in Greece have a very special feeling to them for some reason and I can imagine being here and being immersed in the atmosphere.

This is history at the finest! I did a course on art from the crusades and this reminds me of a lot from that era. So elaborate and exquisite. This is a wonderful shot and unique story to go with it. Thanks for sharing.
