I really like the angle and the colour of this one, that you caught the leaves and a bit of background rather than just the face of a flower, I think this is far more interesting it's very clear it's well presented and the details and tones are good

You've captured this rose in full and beautiful bloom. The colors are bright and deep. The image is very sharp; I like the small leaves on the bottom giving full support.

I am sure this bush with such lovely yellow roses will have even more blooms next summer, because it looks very healthy. I really like the deep yellow color of the rose, and also how well it is standing out from the background.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the petals of the rose, and the green leaves. The exposure is perfect.
When it comes to the composition, I think it is room for improvement. The rose is a bit too close to the left frame, and it would have been better to sacrifice some of the green leaves on the right. Still a lovely and well taken photo Glena.

Oh I've just got the very last blooms on my later flowering roses here in the UK and it makes me rather sad. However it's good to know they'll be back and maybe you will get more than one flower each time next year. Very lovely rose. The color is gorgeous and stands out nicely against the cedar mulch. Interesting composition. Most photos of flowers are taken from a front view so approaching from a side view is a nice change. Beautiful shot!
