Creative and beautiful photo of these two bees that look so real. Even with the mixed media it feels like a single photograph.
Great colors and nice contest entry! Best of luck in the voting!

A beautiful picture of this female Common eastern bumblebee ~ Bombus impatiens as she collects both nectar & pollen from the red flower the sunlight dancing on her wings while highlighting her antlers, yellow bristles in her thorax, black & grey bristles on her abdomen, the golden pollen in her pollen baskets on her back leg. The bee & the flower standing out from her blurred green backdrop.

A great looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and full composition grants us a wonderful view of those two bees sharing a nice bloom. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. Excellent image and good luck!

I do very much like what you've done here, but I think the one bee would have been sufficient as the focus and dof is superb, and not easy to do! The fur/hairs are so well defined that he almost looks cuddly! It's a very well taken shot.
The mirror effect certainly made me look twice, but the dip in the centre of the flower makes it look more obvious than the 2 bees being identical - it almost looks like they've eaten a lump out it! Lol Maybe a tiny bit of cloning to fill in that gap?
Either way, it's a superb piece of work, well done.

This is a lovely creation. The bees actually look like darling rabbit bees. The green background is lovely. The orange and red foreground is lovely. Best wishes in the contest.

What a creative approach, you did it flawlessly. When I looked at it I really did think it was two bees lol. I am not a fan of the saturation on the flower but that's a personal choice. Nice work and good luck in the contest!

Two bee or not two bee, that seems to be the question. I will stick with two bee. very clever idea for this bug contest. Mirroring works well in this presentation. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

Smart looking post of the bee. The pic of the bees on a flower captures their grace and elegance even when they are stationary. It's a reminder of the beauty in their form and plumage.Good luck!
