I know what you mean Bob, it has been a lot of rain here in Norway as well this summer. These Dogwood blooms are really pretty with all the droplets and a touch of pink. I also like the way you have filled the frame.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in all the blooms. The exposure is very good, and the colors look nice and natural.
The format and tight framing is working well, and it is a fine balance in the composition. Another lovely and well taken photo of Dogwood blooms.

Thanks Annie for your fine review. I photographed this same Dogwood last year and there were no large clusters of blossoms. But not this year - lucky me... Bob

Flower photography has always been my favorite subjects. As such I have found that flowers show their best color and form right after a rain. Thank you so much for a wonderful review and fine five rating ... Bob

Beautiful photo Bob of this softly pink dogwood so nicely clusters together. Great details especially with all the water droplets after the rain. We had plenty of it this year also. You took the picture at the right time!

The delicate pink hues are captured to perfection here - what a pretty plant this is! Lots of good crisp detail, including the droplets of rain which always add a nice touch to a floral image.

Hi Christine.. These usually don't blossom in such tight clusters and that caught my eye. I think this is might be a hybrid variety. I like it.

Now I learn that the other dogwood is from downtown Wolfeboro, not a species. Well, I am learning. Thes pink ones are lovely and indeed clustered together. The real raindrops add to their beauty as I am sure your spritz bottle water would have. Thanks for sharing.

This pack of dogwood immediately reminds me of my neighbor, she had a beautiful dogwood tree just like this and I loved looking at it, one day she had it cut down and replaced it with a lilac . I like the way you shot this one to show the tree or bush in full bloom, colors may be subdued but I think they are beautiful. The raindrops bring a sense of freshness .Well captured with good focus, this image is clear and exposure is perfect, the colors and tones appear natural. I love the shape and structure of the dogwood bloom! Love the way you filled the frame.
