Familiar scene..lol.very cool bill. Where you driving when you captured this? The clarity is great. Th capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the road woods and SkyView is great. The presentation is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. Creative approach and great job overall

Thank you! I drove on the outskirts of a little town called Pefferlaw, Ontario, Canada -- about 1.25 hours away from where I live. City life is congested. Although I do not live deep in the city, city life creeps into where I live and it is claustrophobic at times. So a drive like this was a vacation of sorts. And to find a scenic location was gold! Thank you for your review!

An atmospheric image for sure with that dark moody sky from the low cloud formations. It is almost devoid of colour, apart from the Autumnal foliage that happens to tie in well with the road marking. Well spotted and well captured.

This is indeed a mysterious photograph with the subdued light and an empty road. I like the colors of fall to the left adding a bit of color. A lovely composition.

Great capture! The fall colors really stand out against the white stormy sky. Adds to the overall ambiance of the shot itself. Thanks for sharing it.

I like the dim light and overcast setting of the scene. The clouds looks so dramatic. Early signs of Fall from the left hand side is a meaningful element of your composition. You must have a good vantage point from where you are to have captured this road well. Great title and accompanying artist's notes. A tranquil scene.

A dark and mysterious road presented here. I like how you angled your camera to capture this piece. The composition shades and tones are very well thought out and executed.

I like to see a well done moody photograph in this certainly has that you've captured the dark still light very well and I love that the orange has come through in the way it has. It highlights this capture just correctly and so well, it is an excellent composition and show

Your composition is nostalgic. The road, two lanes and a portion coming from the right, is rather nice, new-like white and yellow lines. Somewhat of a foreboding scene. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill.. Mysterious and moody for sure. I think you got the desired effect with the darkening of the scene - well done. It isn't over done but just right to convey the message.

The camera settings are spot on and the colors look natural.

This is a fine take... Bob
