I think this is a fine entry for this contest, because nothing is more mesmerizing than a cat's eyes. You have brought out such a fine shine in them, and also the fine textures of the fur.
I also like the all neutral background, and how well the cat is standing out from it. It is also see that this drawing is done paying such a good attention to detail.
The format and framing is perfect, and the cat has got a fine placement on the paper. A truly lovely and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.
