What a spectacular photo, it's hard to believe such a place even exists! I would probably be there FOREVER taking photos of such a magical place, wonder if they would let me bring some skulls along-lol! I can see why this one first place, big congrats, I'm glad i didn't get around to entering anything. Just a beautifully composed photo, incredible!!!

A beautiful coastal view with the cactuses & other Desert plants set against the sea that's reflecting the blue sky above with white clouds radiating out across the heavens. The differently coloured rocks in the foreground adds interest to the foreground & the distant headland draws the eye into the centre of the picture. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

This is a good landscape photo using the foliage to see through the distant sea really works well,and yes it does look good in this,have been to lanzarote quite a few years ago and did enjoy it....Brian

I'm going away in Jan/Feb with a friend, but we don't yet know where exactly we're going, but the Canary Islands are on the list of possibilities, as having only been to Lanzarote I thought it might be nice to see some of the other islands too - have you been to any of the others?
