Yes, it is indeed a great bird to see in winter. I don't think we have them in Norway, but we have bullfinches with their red chests instead. It is a very pretty scene with the two red birds sitting on a water pump, and they are standing out so well against the red snow.

The sky looks great, and both the pump, the birds and the trees are done paying a very good attention to details. It is fine textures in the snow as well.

The format and framing is very good, and with the placement of the pump a bit off to the left, it is a fine balance in the composition. The only think I am thinking when I look at your creation is that the framing could have been a lot tighter. Think the visual impact would be even better. But this is still a truly lovely and well done digital painting Allan.

I really like this! I appreciate the work that went into this with digital but not AI software. Your treatment of the sky and clouds is very nice. I also like the variety of tree species represented here. The cardinals stand out nicely against the snow. I hope you turn this into a Christmas card. Very nice!
