This reminds me of that old song from years ago that had a saying I don't like spiders or snakes and that ain't what it takes to scare me (added that in). I almost have the same photo but for some reason it did not turn out so well. One thing I hate is going to work in the morning and running into a spider web, you don't know that it is there until you start to wear it (LOL). I like the green background that makes him stand out, it is also well framed. I see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. JackJr.

thank you, yeah I do have a phobia of spiders, but if I know where it is, I can deal.

This is a fine close-up shot of the spider. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours, and composition have worked out well. Good effort!
