A nice view of he beach, but you are right you can't really see the people. But that's ok the scene is pleasing without the people in it. Nice seascape.

This is an excellent shot Nik. So good in fact that it would stand very well of its own accord. If I may, I would have taken the distant little people out in favor of a pristine seascape - but that's just me.
Otherwise this post is an overall beautiful composition. The seascape is framed under even moderate lighting and captured with superb camera techniques and sharp focus... Bob

Awesome photograph of almost empty beach and gentle light shining on the fairy quiet sea.
The grasses in the foreground are showing nice details and contrasting texture to the sand and water.

A beautiful view looking out over Formby beach from the sand dunes the sun rays lighting up & glistening on the sea's surface.in the far distance it possible to see a couple of people in silhouette against the glistening surface of the sea.
Beautiful artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A very nice calming image with good use of the rule of thirds. This is one of those images where the bright hotspot of light on the sea works well to help with the atmosphere of the image.

Nice angle of shot to include the dunes and the grasses in foreground,
Well focused, clear image with good light management . We can see that there are people out there , they give nice depth to your scene. Colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

Very many thanks for your and detailed review! Pleased you enjoyed my image. It?s a lovely location to explore and enjoy. About 30/40 years ago me and some co-workers used to jog 3/4 miles on that beach to help us keep fit for sports. Temperatures dropping here too, near Liverpool, Englan.

This is such a lovely photo presented here. Those soft skies with the hint of clouds draws the eye to the beautiful reflection of the water. Live the angle used which incorporated the tuffs of grass. Beautiful to view!!
