Wow! This is awesome for soft pastels. Great details, love the fly, the web in there, your details are exceptional and everything is balanced. I know your going against and AI one, but I will always vote for something done by hand and not by machine. This is fantastic. Its creepy too! lol

Good story to this image and the filling of the frame very effective. The cropping out of the spider legs really draws our attention to the eyes and the fangs. Nice created

This is absolutely stunning in its detail and is so very realistic. It displays real talent and is an amazing entry to the contest. It's both quite horrible and yet strangely beautiful at the same time!

Yuk! But this is a fine pastel work, especially the background and the colors in the bottom portion of that. The spider appears excited about dinner. The fly is really done well, except I can't discern about the face as much. Best wishes in the contest.

Not sure itsy bitsy is the right description for this as the spider looks massive and also threatning as well, you would not want to be that fly, really good one for this contest...Brian

Awesome pastel painting of this sliders with wonderful colors and details.
The spider web they are entangled in is nicely bringing both spiders together.
Excellent contest entry!

To me this is a great piece of work and that is one spider that I don't want to come across. I feel sorry for the fly but that is nature at its best. The spider gets the fly and then the spider gets stepped on, they both become victims in the long run. I like the colors and the spider definitely fills the frame and I also like the spider webs. I want to wish you the best in the contest. JackJr.

You have brilliantly shown that in the world of eight-legged artists, spiders spin tales of survival, their silk threads etching a story of patience and precision to catch their preys. Well done! Good luck!
