The story you are telling is both touching and horrible. I can never understand how people can be so cruel. I am so happy that you could take care of Daisy May, and you have pictured her so well.

I especially like the close and personal approach and how well you have done the eyes. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of the fur.

It is amazing how well you do these drawings with such a good attention to even the smallest details, and the drawing almost look like a photo. Indeed beautiful work, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. I also could never understand the mindset of people who could do such things.

Well executed! I thought the is was a photo. I am a huge fan of realism and this fits my list of "love". Great back story, great art! Amazing! Good luck

Oh I'm so pleased that you rescued her from death row and gave her a life worth living. So sorry to hear of her passing, but with that sadness comes the knowledge that without you, she would never have known love or kindness, which you gave to her in abundance.
A very beautiful portrait of her and a lovely memory to have.

Hi FPPP, Your drawings are always so lifelike! I can see why you just couldn't foster this sweetheart.... You had to won her. Her face is so expressive and sweet. She so wins your heart over. I don't know how anyone could just throw her out of a vehicle! This image is so heartwarming and special! So wish I had a 6 to bless this with! It deserves that...and more! It's nice to know that she had loving moments with you. Sorry to hear she passed away! Thank you for sharing! :o) Nancy

Thanks so much for your review Nancy! Sadly, Coonhounds are thrown away in my neck of the woods all the time, usually if they won't hunt, or have become to old, but just as often because their "owners" no longer want bother with feeding them any longer.

What a sweet face, bless you for giving her a chance to know love,as well as her friend. As for her previous owner;there's a special circle in Hell reserved for their kind. How anyone could look into those soulful eyes and mistreat her is beyond me;I do not doubt that she gave as much love as she received. This is a beautiful tribute to her, and I am sorry for your loss. Best wishes to you in the contest.
