I love the title to this piece. Those of us from the "north" know how early sunset is in winter.
This is a very dramatic shot with the dark/light sky, the dark silhouetted mtn peaks and the brilliant reflection of the water/ice. I think the cropping of this worked very well to exaggerate the landscape shape. Great job.

A beautiful & atmospheric sunset scene on the Turnagain Arm off the Seaward Highway with e sun's disc glowing through the clouds over the snow capped mountains that are then reflected on the glassy surface of the inlet. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Pat I can see why this is one of your favorite spots, the setting is breathtaking. The reflection on the water is partially broken by the ice. The snow capped mountians sstand tall. Very nice, I like it alot. Ray
