Ah! Artist Bob. This is a beautiful flower in its shades of purple, light toward the middle and the golden and yellow middle. The dark background makes for a fine composition. The last one often leaves a bitter sweet feeling: reflecting upon what has been and now leaving as well as the hope of the same adorning the land and our views again. Thanks much for sharing.

I love the cosmos ( I think that is what this is ) I don't recall ever seeing one with pink petals and that white around the golden center, I have only seen them in solid colors with the golden center detail.
Very well photographed with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is perfect.
Isee nice detail in each of the petals as well as the center structure.
The flower is standing out so beautifully from the neutral toned background .
Well composed and presented! This would be a nice addition to a calendar featuring flowers.
