What a moment! Nature is so cool to photograph when you get opportunities like these. I like how the arms look like a heart. I think the one up top is staring at you.

A brilliant shot of this pair of Damsel Flies copulating the sunlight highlighting both Damsel Flies & the stem they are clinging to both standing out in sharp contrast to the dark background. Artistic composition, framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I like the way the mating damsels are forming a heart, and I especially like the way the light is falling on them. The all black background makes them stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp showing such clear and well defined details in both damsels, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and the by the placement of the damsels within the frame, it is a very good balance in the composition. A lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and I wish you luck with the contest.
