This is simply gorgeous, my dear friend, so serenely standing by itself with the beautiful petals; the two bottom petals are touched are with purple/pink and more raindrops. The beautiful yellows in the center also add to the attractiveness.

Hi Soulfeeder, I like this low side view of the waterlily! You definitely found a pretty one with a lovely shape to it. Though I would like to see the image a little brighter it is a beautiful shot with good focus! Good luck in the Contest! :o) Nancy

Hi Nieves.. Personally I find the Water Lily one of the more difficult blossoms to photograph. I never seem to get it just the way I think it should look.
This shot is simply beautiful. Love the water droplets it lends such a romantic air to the take.
Your camera technique is flawless.

This looks like a great entry foe the contest. I like to see them in a pond because they are so beautiful the way that they bring that special joy to people in general. The focus is great and I especially like the way that it fits the frame. It also looks like it got that little bit of dew by the way that it sits on the bottom of the flower. A beautiful picture of the white & pink Water Lily it's petals encrusted with liquid Diamonds with it's golden stamens in the centre framed it by the green lily-pads below the floating on the water. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

This water lily looks so fresh with the water droplets sitting on its petals, and you have pictured it so well. The lily pads offer a perfect background, and the flower is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is also sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the petals and the yellow center of the lily, and the exposure is very good.
The format and framing works well, and so does the centered position of the lily. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
