Love this new art montage! The colors are bold but work well together. The composition is whimsical and intriguing. The oddly shaped frame creates a window-like illusion and makes the piece almost feel like you can step into it. This was a fabulous experiment! Bravo!

Thank you for a great review. I only recently learned if the Canadian artist Maudie and was intrigued with her style which this emulated. I had hoped my competition would attract more however it was a fun exercise

I have never heard that name but I at first glance I thought that a child drew this but after reading your post I see where you are coming from. It is really nice to try something new because you never know when it might become a valuable piece of art, things I think happen by accident. It starts out as one thing and then it becomes another. I like this, I think that it explains a lot, a city couple coming out of the city and going through the country. I like the many colors and I like how simple that it is. I also see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. JackJr.

I'm sure you copied her (yes, quite childish) exactly like it was and would deserve a 5 or higher for the replica. I'll have to view her work. The background is so smooth, fine work and the sky has some good quality as does the foreground item and the distant building with red.

Interesting, I have never heard of her or the show, this looks like its is squeezed in a mirror, maybe its the border around it. Not sure as an artist myself I have ever had a mental block to do it, I try new mediums, and always have something to paint and create lol,,,

The frame was my invention. A car mirror view perhaps. I hadnt heard of her until my nephew recommended the movie. My block started when my husband became ill mid 2022. After he died I couldnt ... now I am pushing myself. Thank you for reviewing and comments..much appreciated
