Lovely artwork which unfortunately loses a little impact as the photo you have taken is blurry. Not sure what you used to take image but would suggest using a tripod or stabilizing the camera to reduce movement.
I haven't reduced stars as the actual art is done extremely well.

Thank you! Unfortunately my camera had died and since I wanted to get it to her parents before they left for a trip, I took the photo with a crummy old cellphone.

This drawing is done so well, that it looks almost like a photo in a black and white lens. Riley sounds like she had a big heart. It was also very kind of you to draw this photo for the owners! RIP Riley.

Thanks so much for your kind review! She was a big girl with a big heart and is greatly missed.

Beautiful depiction of a Labrador, I could tell right away the kind of dog it was. The shading and texture is spot on and I love the details on the collar with the paws! Excellent work

A friend of mine raises and shows bench bred labs. They got big blocky heads so this one looks a bit different to me but certainly a lab. Wonderful shading and tone. Thanks for sharing.

I love how pet art can transform a simple photograph of your pet into a work of art that truly celebrates their individuality and charm.. It's a beautiful way to immortalise the love and joy she brought to your lives.Good luck!

I really enjoyed the post and you are right sometimes I think they are smarter than we seem to believe. I think pets are here for us to love as a companion. When you train them as pups it definitely pays off in the long run. It's a crying shame that we get attached to them like we do but that does happen and when we lose them it hurts for a while but we can always go back in our memory and see the good times that we had with them. I lke this and I see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. Thanks for sharing that memory of Riley with us. JackJr.

Your graphite work is outstanding, but somehow in places in the face it appears a little blurred, not as sharp as elsewhere. It probably is the way you captured it. It is not always easy to capture beautiful work done, such as yours is.

Yes, for some reason graphite is really hard to capture just right, and my photography skills never seem up to par, lol. I only realized that it was a bit blurry after I'd already mailed it.

You are so talented and do such fine work; I know what you are talking about, this happens sometimes with uploads too. Fine graphite indeed!

I love animal portraits and Riley was a great subject. So much personality shown with just a pencil. You captured her eyes very well, she is stunning.

Very well rendered lab , accurate shape and structure , beautiful facial features , lovely facial expression. You bring her to life with your creation of her eyes, nice light and shading , well shown fur texture.
I'm sure her mom misses her very much!
Well arranged and presented!
