This image looks so delicate with the pink rose fading into a the blue background, while the center is sharp with well defined details. The rose is of course done paying a very good attention to details.

In this case I would actually have dropped the frame, because since it is so well defined it is taking a bit of attention away from the rose. But I do appreciate that this could also be a matter of taste.

The square format is perfect, and so is the centered position of the rose. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital creation Allan, and even with the comments about the frame, I think it is worth 6 stars.

Hey Annie, once again you have given me great advice. I think the frame stole some of the thunder from the subject and I deleted it per you suggestion. I do believe that made a big difference and a better painting. Thanks so much! I appreciate the high rating, and now the frame is off maybe even a more solid six?
