It is a truly beautiful rose you have pictured here, and I especially like that you added a touch of peach color to the background. I also like the simplicity of this image.
The rose is done paying a very good attention to details, and even the veins in the petals are showing. I also like a lot the way you have used light on the rose.
The format and framing is perfect, and the rose has got such a fine placement in the image. It is a truly lovely and well digital creation Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Annie, I was hoping you would like this painting. I have done several others like this also. They take total concentration on my part to try and get the light/shading just right. A high rating as this makes it worth the effort!

This is absolutely beautiful and I really like it. My favorite flower is the rose, to me it is something special about it. Have you ever noticed that they seem to start coming out at Mothers Day, I guess why they are special to me. I love the way that this is presented and the framing is spot on. I think that I need to start to do digital art because it is definitely something different and it is nice to look at. I see that it is a great entry for the contest and I wish you the best in it.
