Poecile hudsonica, a very common bird in northern NE, but I have never seen one Pat.
Nice catch light in the eye. Overall the head features are sharp and clean. The detail softens a bit at the extreme end of the tail feathers & branch.
The sold blue background pushes the bird to the forefront for the viewers full attention - excellent.
Eye catching and attention holding diagonal thirds presentation.

This chickadee looks so sweet with fluffed up feathers, and is of course posing for you in such a lovely way. Especially the shiny eye is well captured, and the bird is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got such a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo pat, and with an excellent DOF.

This is the ones we have and for some reason I find their are few this year. but again the forest behind our house has been taken down due to a builder who is building a subdivision. So, all my birds are not here, I dont even have any at my feeders. This is very upsetting. Your photo is so clear and focused, well done
