Brian,
A beautiful black and white photo of Flatford Mill made famous by John Constable's painting of the Mill on the River Stour. The reflections on the river are an added bonus to your picture. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques. Good luck in the contest.
I remember visiting this when we lived in Suffolk.

A very nice shot of this famous location. I have wanted to visit this place for a long time but it has never happened yet. Maybe someday. The composition is nicely captured and the tones of black and white are rendered well. Great job and good luck in the contest.

Looks an interesting place to visit and your use of Black and White works well showing the picturesque scene nicely.
Good composition and the reflections are great.

Hi Brian, I imagine if this was in color it would be a stunning shot, because it's pretty awesome in BW! Love the angle of the shot. Both the footbridge and buildings are very cool to look at. Love the quaint look of the mill. The image is a little dark, ( which is just my opinion) but I love the view! Great image for the contest! Good luck!

This truly looks like a lovely place I would not mind to visit at all. I especially like your point of view creating such fine leasing lines, and also how well you have captured the fine reflections in the shiny water. This photo also looks very good in black and white.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is very good. Fine distinctions between dark and light.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and with the bridge placed to the left, nicely balanced by the building on the right, it is a very fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Brian, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a good outdoor shot. The light is good. The black-and-white photo gives the viewing a nostalgic touch!:) Overall it has been composed well, with an interesting foreground showing the reflections and mill in the background all adding to the interest of the main subject . Good luck!
