Love when nature makes its own window for you to enjoy the view. This is a stunning image with great focus and the colors are natural. The texture of the sandstone is shown clearly. Looks a beautiful area.

Thank you so much for your very kind review Mary! I just read your profile and it really struck a nerve that you just lost your husband of 50 years. I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband and I just celebrated our 50th anniversary and I dread the day that could happen to us. It almost happened 12 years ago when he had a heart attack in the early morning hours. But he was so lucky to have survived with a triple bypass. I can only imagine your grief and wish you healing and love from a fellow artist and photographer.

I think this is a truly beautiful scene with the golden limestone, the blue sky and the green water. I especially like how lovely the light is falling on the framing limestone, and also your point of view.

The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the photo, and you have also brought out so well the fine textures of the limestone. The exposure is spot on.

The format and framing is perfect, and I think it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
