Being a Christian, this picture is beautiful. Easter is right around the corner and this beautiful picture gives me the resurrection of Jesus. Excellent picture!

It is a very touching portrait of Jesus praying, and a really good entry into a contest like this. The background looks great as well, and I like the way his gown is blending into it.
The drawing is done paying such a good attention to details. I also like the way you have used the light, and how well you have pictured the expression in the face of Jesus.
The format and framing is perfect, and it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well done pastel, and I wish you luck with the contest.
