An unusual shot of this plume of steam from the geyser. It would have been nice if you had gotten closer as it is not definitive as a geyser, could have been a camp fire.

Hi Nik.. After finding out that nearly all of Yellowstone is a cap of a super volcano, I am little less enthusiastic about a return trip.
This post is an overall beautiful composition. The Geyser is framed under even moderate lighting and captured with superb camera techniques and sharp focus... Bob

Have seen these geysers on t.v. and you tube and when they blow they look awesome,feel this one needs to be the same in order to get the full impact of one of these,maybe you did get that in other shots....Brian
