Brian you are doing great, yes I used bubble wrap. This is fabric design no focal point needed And I noticed you degraded me to a 4 1/2 and wiped out a 6 all over a focal point. This must be a mistake and if not I am appalled, because I have tried very hard to explain what I do, to help you understand art. Photography and art are two different things. Photography is capturing a slice of time using the rules or standards that photographers go by. Art is a unique creation which basically has no rules. Brian you disappointed me, I never expected this from you especially. Ray

Yes but I have determined that abstracts are not my favorite to do. Unless it becomes a background for something else. :)

Here are my thoughts on the matter. Artists are illusionists and any of their creations are not reality but can approach reality ie. photographs, Photo realism, all art has varying amounts of abstract until you get to black which is close to max abstract. So then all painters or illusionists create art, which contains different percentages of abstract and realism. So all our art has a fair amount of abstract. This is what I was taught and what I believe to be true. :)

I knew you were going to come up with that reply. But what I don?t like to do is abstract images that don?t really appear to be anything. Just a bunch of colors slapped on. For instance, the one that you just did with the dots actually looks like something. Some of your other stuff is unrecognizable and doesn?t look like the title that you give it but that?s just my opinion. to each their own style right? I just find it when I try to do something with only color, and no certain shape or identity of anything significant, I just can?t stand the piece! This is my taste level. But it doesn?t mean there?s anything wrong with it. It?s just where I am in my own creativity. I know that anything that isn?t real in a sense abstract in some way.

This is so pretty, it feels like I am looking out through the sheer curtain into a garden . It's such a lovely show of the light coming through the window too .i love the colors and the circular pattern in the sheers.

Pat thank you for your wonderful review, rating and comments. I did this using bubble wrap. I took some bubble wrap and painted on it and then I pressed into the paper. I used many layers. I am so glad you enjoy it. Ray
