A beautiful picture of the Turtle clambering up a tree to get out of the water & into the sunshine to warm up, it's shadow seen on it's left, while the shine is catching the shine on it's shell. framed on either side by the Bamboo. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

He will only go as high as he has to. For some reason turtles love to bask in the sun and thats because they can. This came out great an shows what turtles do. There is a log in the stream by me and all the turtles pile on. Thank you for sharing and the best of luck in the contest.

I have seen up to 15 turtles on a log. They don't seem to mind crowded conditions even putting their foot on another turtle's head! Thanks for the great review

they make good use with those claws on their web feet. nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this turtle doing its climb on the tree is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

TURTLE!!!! In high school my nickname was Turtle. At first I didn't like it but I grew to name eventually. To now Turtle are one of my favorite animals. Beautiful shot of this turtle. Lighting, and attention to detail is awesome! Thank you for sharing
