Well one of them seems to have something to squawk about-lol! We have a pair that occasionally visit our pond in the morning, but none that have attempted nesting. This is a great photo of this mated pair, like that you caught the one in mid-squawk, showing us its tongue. Ripples add a nice sense of movement as these two swim around.

Of course the female is the angry one, speaking her mind..... We see these geese in Florida, usually when they are flying back to their homeland at the end of winter. Great photo of this couple.

A beautiful stop action picture of the pair of Canada Geese, the goose beak open in protest her movement & that of the gander are creating ripples on the water on which the pale sky is reflected. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
