Nieves,
A beautiful picture of this pair of Rainbow Lorikeets ~ Trichoglossus moluccanus they are native to Australia. The light falling on them highlights their coulorful plumage as they stand out from their blurred background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The are Rainbow Lorikeets native to Australia.
You have captured the pair nicely with natural colours.
They usually wake me up in a morning when our gum tree is flowering as they are extremely noisy passing messages to others in area.

think they are lorikeets and you caught a good moment sometimes when going to zoos etc it pays to study the subject [whatever it is] and try to see that moment to capture something better rather than just point and shoot, and think this shows that, well done...brian

Hi Nieves, What a lovely entry for the green contest! Those green feathers literally jump off the page with their brightness. Love the color of their head and those red beaks. Love the way you caught these two together. Both lighting and focus us show them off beautifully! Good Luck in the contest! :o) Nancy

Nieves this is a beautiful close up of these two Lorikeets. They are so colorful and it does look like the younger one getting worldly advise from moma. Very nicely framed and presented. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

A good looking image posted here into the competition posted here! Your fine and full composition gives us good views of that pair of lovely birds. The chic looks nearly as big as it's mum. Well taken!
